Mission Statement:

SDRUFC is a member driven coalition of agencies, businesses and educators working to improve our urban forest assets. We promote the benefits of trees for a cleaner, healthier and more prosperous San Diego region.

Our parent organization is the California Urban Forests Council.

What we do:

  • We serve, inspire and engage community stakeholders by encouraging:
  • strong collaborations, partnerships and stewardship
  • increase urban forestry awareness and advocacy sustainable public education and policies
  • professional training and resource development.

Who we are:

SDRUFC Executive Committee

The Executive Committee of the San Diego Regional Urban Forests Council offers guidance and strategic direction for the entire council. The committee comprises both officers and non-elected members. General members are welcome to join the committee at any point. Meetings of the board usually occur at 10:00 am prior to our regular meetings and include conference calls as needed between meetings.
