One of the challenges members in our group face is how to best manage the increasing surpluses of green waste and woody biomass occurring due to invasive insects, disease and drought. This regional event was planned to bring a broad range of experts, policy makers, impacted industries, scientists and other stakeholders together to learn more about the challenges we have on this issue and potential solutions, specifically as they pertain to southern California.
