Clearance Standards For Trees
San Diego County, California
The San Diego Regional Urban Forests Council adopted a clearance standard for trees on December 1, 2010. This set of standards is the result of several months of collaboration by several members of the council. They are intended to direct tree pruning professionals to particular minimum clearances, pruning objectives, safety, and other priciples during the course of performing their work. These standards are not meant to supsecede any standards already set in place, but are to serve as a guide for professionals and home owners in the region as a guide to minimum standards for pruning work completed. Please view and download the pruning standards and share freely.
